Problem Note 56014: A Score node returns no results although the node seems to run successfully in a text mining flow

In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, a Score node seems to complete successfully (no errors) when used with SAS® Text Miner nodes. However, no results are displayed.
The problem occurs when a non-printable character is part of a term that was read in by the Text Parsing node. The non-printable character becomes a blank space. The parser displays a blank result for the term, but instead, should have removed the term. When this result occurs, the mapping and scoring of that term does not work as intended.
You can work around the problem in either of two ways.
- Remove the term that has a blank space from the document(s).
- Remove the document(s) from the corpus.
